Testing Data Point

Test the data point in following ways:

Option I:

Open the Data Point to test from the list of Data Points on canvas. To open a Data Point, refer Opening Data Point.

On the Actions menu, click Test Data Point.

Before testing a data point its mandatory to save the data point.

Option II:

From the list of Data Points, select a data point, then on the specific Data Point Actions menu, click Test Data Point.

If the database connection details are accurate, then the success message appears else displays a failure message along with reason for failure (error messages).

Click x to close the success message.
