Setup Wizard
Diyotta Manager Setup Wizard provides the step by step process to be followed in order to add environments, Node managers and the associated services.
To open Setup Wizard, on the Navigation pane, click Setup Wizard.
The Diyotta Manager setup wizard opens and you can see the various steps of the wizard - Environment, Node Manager, Controller Repository, Controller Broker, Controller and Agent.
- To proceed step by step for creating environment and creating the services, click Next Step.
- To cancel the configuration step and get back to home page, click Cancel.
Step I: Create Environment
Scenario I: The wizard guides you to create a new environment if environment does not already exist.
To create a new environment, enter the environment name, description, and click Next Step. For more information, refer Creating Environment.
Scenario II: If environments are already added, then the defined environment are listed under Environment drop-down. Here you can either choose the already defined environment or create a new environment.
To continue with existing environment, choose the environment from Environment drop-down, and click Next Step. For more information, refer Creating Environment.
Step II: Create Node Manager
To create Node Manager host under the Environment follow the steps below.
Scenario I: If no host has been created yet, then enter the details where the Node Manager host is to be installed, and click Next Step. For more information, refer Creating Node Manager.
Note: To back to Home page, click Back.
Scenario II: If the Node Manager host is already created in the environment, then the defined host are listed under Host drop-down. Here you can either choose the already defined host or create a new host.
To continue with already existing Node Manager host in the environment, choose the host from Host drop-down and for configuration details, click Next Step. For more information, refer Creating Node Manager.
Note: To back to Home page, click Back.
Step III: Adding Node Manager Service
Once the Node Manager host is created, the wizard takes you to the Node Manager Configuration page.
Scenario I: If the Node Manager Service already exists for the host, then the wizard takes you to the configuration details. Here you can view updated values if any and make changes to values as required. For more information refer, Adding Node Manager Service.
Note:
- To check updated values from Node-Manager config file, click on Refresh.
- If any value is changed, then Save Changes get displayed. To save, click Save Changes.
- To proceed further, click Next Step.
Scenario II: If the Node Manager Service is not already configured for the host, then you can either Add and deploy the service or Auto Register as required.
Option I: Deploy Node Manager Service
1. To newly install the Node Manager service on the host selected, choose Add and deploy a service. Enter all the details required, and click Deploy. For more information, refer Adding Node Manager Service.
2. Once we click Deploy, Node manager service gets installed with details provided and it starts the services. The installation details are provided in the log. To view the configuration details, click Next.
Note: To download Node Manager Logs, click Download.
3. The Configuration details registered are displayed. Diyotta Manager Values shows the fields which are registered, and Config File Values shows the field values from Node Manager Config file. The value differences if any, is indicated with red highlighted text under Config File Values, and Diyotta Manager Values can be further updated as required. For more details refer, Adding Node Manager Service.
- To check updated values from Node-Manager config file, click on Refresh. Refresh action is displayed only for Add and Deploy a Service option.
- If any value is changed, then Save Changes get displayed. To save, click Save Changes.
- To proceed further, click Next Step.
Option II: Auto Register Node Manager Service
1. To auto register the service, choose Auto Register.
2. Once you choose auto register, the Node Manager Configuration is retrieved for the host and the retrieval message is displayed . To finish Node Manager service registration, click Continue, and the configuration details gets displayed.
If Node Manager Configuration details are not found then the message 'service not exist' is displayed.
Step V: Configure Controller Repository service
Scenario I:
Once the Node Manager service is registered, the Setup wizard shows the list of services to be configured - Controller Repository, Controller Broker, Controller and Agent.
To proceed further to add Controller Repository service, choose Controller Repository service and click Next Step.
The ''Select service to continue page'' is displayed only when the Controller Repository service for the node manager chosen is already not created.
If the Controller Repository Service is not already configured for the host, then you can either Add and deploy the service or Auto Register as required.
Option I: Deploy Controller Repository Service
1. To newly install the Controller Repository service on the host selected, choose Add and deploy a service. Enter all the details required, and click Deploy. For more information, refer Adding Controller Repository Service.
2. Once we click Deploy, Controller Repository service gets installed with details provided and it starts the services. The installation details are provided in the log. To view the configuration details, click Next Step.
Note: To download controller repository logs, click Download.
3. The Configuration details registered are displayed. Diyotta Manager Values shows the fields which are registered. For more details refer, Adding Controller Repository Service.
- To check updated values from Controller Repository config file, click on Refresh. Refresh action is displayed only for Add and Deploy a Service option.
- If any value is changed, then Save Changes get displayed. To save, click Save Changes.
- To proceed further, click Next Step.
Option II: Auto Register Controller Repository Service
1. To auto register the service, choose Auto Register.
2. Once you choose auto register, the Controller Repository Configuration is retrieved for the host and the retrieval message is displayed . To finish Controller Repository service registration, click Continue, and the configuration details gets displayed.
If Controller Repository Configuration details are not found then the message 'service not exist' is displayed.

Step VI: Configure Controller Broker Service
Scenario I:
Once the Controller Repository service is registered, the Setup wizard shows the next list of services to be configured - Controller Broker, Controller and Agent.
To proceed further to add Controller Broker service, choose Controller Broker service and click Next Step.
- Once the Controller Repository service is added then, you can see the green tick against the Controller Repository tab.
- The ''Select service to continue page'' is displayed only when the Controller Broker service for the node manager chosen is already not created.
If the Controller Broker Service is not already configured for the host, then you can either Add and deploy the service or Auto Register as required.

Step VII: Configure Controller
Scenario I:
Once the Controller Broker service is registered, the Setup wizard shows the next list of services to be configured - Controller and Agent.
To proceed further to add Controller service, choose Controller service and click Next Step.
- Once the Controller Broker service is added then, you can see the green tick against the Controller Broker tab.
- The ''Select service to continue page'' is displayed only when the Controller service for the node manager chosen is already not created.
If the Controller Service is not already configured for the host, then you can either Add and deploy the service or Auto Register as required.

If the Controller service already exists for the host, then the ''Select service to continue'' page is not displayed and the wizard directly displays the Controller Configuration page.
Step VIII: Configure Agent
Once you are done with configuring controller service, controller license has to be applied from 3117 and higher otherwise agent startup will get failed.
Scenario I:
Once the Controller service is registered, the Setup wizard shows the next list of services to be configured - Agent.
To proceed further to add Agent service, choose Agent service and click Next Step.
- Once the Controller service is added then, you can see the green tick against the Controller tab.
- The ''Select service to continue page'' is displayed only when the Agent service for the node manager chosen is already not created.
If the Controller Service is not already configured for the host, then you can either Add and deploy the service or Auto Register as required.
Option I: Deploy Agent Service
1. To newly install the Agent service on the host selected, choose Add and deploy a service. Enter all the details required, and click Deploy. For more information, refer Adding Agent Service.
2. Once we click Deploy, Agent service gets installed with details provided and it starts the service. The installation details are provided in the log. To view the configuration details, click Next.
Note: To download Agent Logs, click Download.
3. The Configuration details registered are displayed. Diyotta Manager Values shows the fields which are registered, and Config File Values shows the field values from agent config file. The value differences if any, is indicated with red highlighted text under Config File Values, and Diyotta Manager Values can be further updated as required. For more information refer, Adding Agent Service.

- To check updated values from Agent Config file, click on Refresh. Refresh action is displayed only for Add and Deploy a Service option.
- If any value is changed, then Save Changes get displayed. To save, click Save Changes.
- To proceed further, click Next Step.
Option II: Auto Register Agent Service
1. To auto register the service, choose Auto Register.
If Agent Configuration details are not found then the message 'service not exist' is displayed.
2. Once you choose auto register, the Agent Configuration is retrieved for the host and the retrieval message is displayed . To finish Agent service registration, click Continue, and the configuration details gets displayed.
Once all the services are registered, the wizard navigates to Diyotta Manager Dashboard where you can see all the services registered as active.
