You can create groups, add users and assign roles to it to for easier management of users.

To manage groups, navigate to the Groups page.

On the Diyotta Manager repository, click Admin drop-down, and then select Group.

Scenario 1: The page displays as no Groups have been created. To add a new group, click click here.

Scenario 2: If groups are already defined then, the Groups page lists all the defined groups.

  • Select - Option to select Group name and perform Delete or edit operations.
  • Group Name - Name of the group.
  • Status - Status displays whether the group is Active or Inactive.

Add a new group

Step I: To create a new group, click Add

Step II: Enter the Group Name, and set the status to Active.

Step III: Add Users

To add users to the group, click Click Here.

Users Popup window lists all the existing users. Select one or multiple users you want to add to the group and click Continue.

Note: If you do not want to add users at this step, click Cancel and it takes you back to the Create Group page.

Step IV: The Page lists the Users added to the group with username and status. To save the group details, click Save.

Note:

  • To add more users to the group, click Add.
  • To delete any user from the group, select the user and click Delete.
  • If you do not want to save the group details, click Cancel and it takes you back to the Groups page.

The Message window displays the success message. Click Ok

Step V: Once you are done with all changes, click Cancel to close the create group page, and navigate back to the Groups page.

The Groups page lists the new group created.

Delete a Group

To delete a group, select the group and click Delete.

Edit a Group

Step I: To modify the group details, select the group and click Edit.

Step II: The Create  Group page displays the group information. You can make the necessary changes and click Save. For reference, here we are deleting a user from the group.

Step III: The selected user USER-1 is deleted. To save the changes, click Save.

Step IV: The message window displays the Success message. Click Ok.

Step V: Once you have saved all the changes, click Cancel to close the create group page, and navigate back to the Groups page.
