Windows

No Environment Variables need to be added for Agent installation in Windows.

When setting up Agent as service then DI_HOME, JAVA_HOME and Path variables need to be set as environment variables.

DI_HOME

JAVA_HOME

Path

<Agent installation folder>\diyotta\agent

<Folder where Java JRE will be found>

<Folder where Java JRE will be found>/bin

Linux

Set the DI_HOME environment variable in .bash_profile, .bashrc or .kshrc of the user under which Diyotta Controller and Agent is installed. DI_HOME should be set to <your Diyotta installation folder>/diserver. 

If the Controller is installed under /app/dictrl then, the DI_HOME must be set to /app/dictrl/diserver

In .bash_profile or .bashrc set the environment variable as below.

# vi ~/.bash_profile
export DI_HOME=/app/dictrl/diserver

In .kshrc set the environment variable as below.

# vi ~/.kshrc
DI_HOME=/app/dictrl/diserver
export DI_HOME


For the Agent, if installed under /app/diagnt then, the DI_HOME must be set to /app/diagnt/diagent.

In .bash_profile or .bashrc set the environment variable as below.

# vi ~/.bash_profile
export DI_HOME=/app/diagnt/diagent

In .kshrc set the environment variable as below.

# vi ~/.kshrc
DI_HOME=/app/dictrl/diagent
export DI_HOME
